Somerset hotel and restaurant named best for foodies in the UK by Sunday TimesIt has been praised as a 'minimalist temple to ethical gastronomy'View Image Osip dish with Black Bee Honey (Image: Western Morning News)A Somerset restaurant has been named as the best hotel for food lovers by The Times. ‌Osip in Bruton has been named as Foodie Hotel of the Year by The Sunday Times Best Places to Stay in a new list today (Monday, March 9). ‌Given a Michelin star in 2021, the restaurant has four rooms above the restaurant for guests to stay in rural Somerset. ‌Osip is celebrated for its farm-to-table ethos and was ranked 8th by the National Restaurant Awards. Describing the restaurant it said Osip "put the Somerset town of Bruton on the culinary map".
