In a statement, the Somali government demonstrated solidarity with Libya’s Government of National Unity and the families of those who died, reaffirming its support for Libya during this time of mourning. “Somalia stands in solidarity with the Libyan Government of National Unity and the families of the deceased, sharing in their profound grief,” the statement noted. Somalia also extended prayers for the deceased, calling for strength and patience for their families and the Libyan people.
