Somali nationals in the Diaspora have been assured of investment opportunities back at home. Speaking at the International Somali Diaspora Conference, Vice chairman of the International Bank of Somalia (IBS Bank), Abdirizack Warsame said the diaspora has been instrumental in rebuilding their country. "The Somali diaspora has been instrumental in both rescuing and rebuilding our nation. He further assured the Somali diaspora of the bank's full support in implementing their innovative ideas for Somalia. The historic International Somali Diaspora Conference was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, united Somalis worldwide under the theme "Harnessing the Power of Somali Diaspora for a Better and Prosperous Somalia."
