To recall, the Ombudsman dismissed the complaint for multiple counts of reckless imprudence over the deaths of the 44 PNP Special Action Force commandos. The cases only covered the deaths of 35 members of the 55th Special Action Company, the blocking force decimated in a cornfield at Barangay Tukanalipao, Mamasapano town.
