Before the shooting, Rittenhouse -- clutching a long rifle -- told a journalist who was trailing him that he was a trained medic, according to a criminal complaint. Grosskreutz said he has attended many peaceful protests in Milwaukee -- which has seen more than 100 days of protests -- against police brutality and racial injustice.
