Ulinzi Stars failed to use there game in hand to tighten the gap on the top two teams in the Sportpesa Premier League as they were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Western Stima yesterday. The scheduling if an international fixture just twenty four hours before they played will certainly anger the Ulinzi hierarchy. In-form Onyango played over three quarters of the Stars clash in Machakos and fatigue must have hampered him from contributing even more to the soldiers’ course. Stima too had Kennedy Otieno with the national team but opted against using him from the start against the home side.Moses Arita gave Stima the lead in the 33rd minute but the lead barely lasted two minutes as Stephen Waruru responded for the soldiers. After five matches, Ulinzi who are yet to lose a match are in sixth place with nine points while Stima can sleep easily for a few days as they are in 14th position with five points in as many matches and one more than the teams occupying the relegation slots below them.
