Photo: Isah OjoSome soldiers were feared killed when terrorists attacked a military base in Benisheikh, Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State. Local sources said the insurgents stormed the base with weapons and operated for hours, setting parts of the facility, including military vehicles, on fire. Chairman of Kaga Local Government Area, Zanna Ajimi, told journalists that the Brigade Commander, Brigadier-General O. Braimah, was among those killed. The attack is the latest in a series of insurgent assaults on military formations in the North-East.
