Sokoto stormwater project: Our materials have been stolen, Contractor cries outThe contractor firm handling the Mabera stormwater project in Sokoto has decried the theft of their working materials by the youth in the areas affected by the contract. Frank added that about 70 per cent of the total 100 per cent of their construction materials were stolen by the youth in the areas. He, however, assured the people of the state of prompt completion of the project before the start of heavy downpour in the state. The NEWMAP Project Coordinator directed the contractor to backfill the completed drainages and evacuated all the debris left especially on the roadside.
