The All Progressive Congress APC has accused the ruling party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party of plans to rig the forthcoming general elections in the state. This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Sambo Bello Danchadi and released to the Journalist on Tuesday. Briefing journalist at the state Secretariat of the party, Danchadi accused PDP led state government of denying students from embarking on holidays for to cast votes in their respective polling units, but to use them to cast votes with PVCs that do not belong to them in favour of PDP. According to Danchadi, ” Reliable information available to our party, obtained from some students, school principals and parents who are opposed to this evil plan has it that unclaimed PVCs will be distributed to the students for this project. ” Some of the principals have already started passing down the instruction to their students directing them to use those PVCs in casting their votes for PDP.
