The inclusion of a module about parenting boy children and adolescent boys shall have an added value to the PMOC because it shall orient future parents about approaches in raising responsible male children, who shall not tolerate gender-based violence and shall promote gender equality in their communities. Creating an organized group of trained adolescent boys like JR GAD in the barangay is important because this group can encourage their peers to communicate their feelings, relationships, ambitions and difficulties. Among the cities and provinces of Davao Region, Davao City has the highest number of pregnant adolescents (3,320). There will be several challenges in implementing the foregoing programs and services for boy children and adolescent boys especially at this time of the continuing pandemic.
