"The current government has appointed women to important administrative posts, to further women empowerment." The government needs to uphold educating women and initiating them in the cultural scene, the minister said. For her outstanding role in women empowerment, the social welfare minister handed over an honorary award to Nasima Begum, founder and Executive Director of Shishu Niloy Foundation.
