I AM already so used to being bashed and trolled on social media that I tell people it is my second PhD. Thus, I end up being hated by those who love the President, as well as by those who hate him. I was more saddened than angered simply because the trolling and bashing came from our very own students. And as faculty and educators, we are committed to fight this virus and win over it by all means necessary. While this is probably just the view of a noisy minority, it still reveals one possible effect of this pandemic, amplified by the norm-compromised platform of Facebook.
