In his public meeting at Kankrej, PM Modi talked about the economic and religious importance of cows in Indian society. PM Modi said, “The economic power of India's dairy industry is more than the food grains produced in the country… Today every village is benefiting from the expansion of Banas Dairy”. Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi slammed the Congress for stalling development in Gujarat for decades. PM Modi said, “There has been a firm identity of the Congress – to stall, to hang, to wander. Whatever the work, Congress sees its own interest first, and the interest of the country later”.
