In 2009, he started Street Soccer Scotland to share what he'd learned with others. At a shelter, he saw a recruiting poster for the Homeless World Cup, a soccer tournament for homeless people. But at its heart, Street Soccer is about giving people a chance to connect with others and move themselves beyond difficult times. So I quit my job and set up Street Soccer to create something that's year-round. And we use the Homeless World Cup as this kind of celebration once a year.
