LONDON, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was able to savour a "convincing performance" against Hull City on Saturday after a testing week when his side's prospects had come under scrutiny. "Overall we had a convincing performance in two different situations," Wenger told reporters. "We had a very difficult game against Southampton last week, went away to Paris St Germain. Despite a mixed start to the campaign Wenger's side are third in the table, five points adrift of early pacesetters Manchester City. Wenger said that Sanchez should not have been taking the penalty.
