Sept 14 (Reuters) - Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been rested for Thursday's Europa League clash with Feyenoord, manager Jose Mourinho said on Wednesday. Rooney has played in all of United's Premier League games this season and also captained England in their World Cup qualifying win over Slovakia earlier this month. Mourinho said he wanted to keep his 30-year-old captain Rooney fresh for Sunday's league game at Watford. "He (Rooney) has played every game since the start of the season. "I want him to be fresh for the next Premier League match.
