The 29-year-old ran halfway across the pitch and slotted the ball through the legs of keeper Jiri Pavlenka for his third goal in two games. Former Bayern defender Holger Badstuber scored the winner for his new club VfB Stuttgart as the promoted team got their first three points of the season with a 1-0 win over Mainz 05. It was Badstuber's first goal since 2009 with the former Germany international having been plagued by injuries.
