“Arul Kanda has made many promises and if he said that he wants to sue, we will be waiting for him,” the Finance Minister told reporters here Thursday. He noted that Arul Kanda is the sole employee of 1MDB which is owned by his ministry. Asked if the ministry would sack Arul Kanda, Lim said that the ministry would take things “step by step”. Earlier on Thursday, Arul Kanda described the attack on his character by the Finance Minister as being unjustified. Lim lambasted Arul Kanda as being “utterly dishonest and untrustworthy”.
