Zhebin Cong’s flight from CAMH — and Canada — leaves more questions than answers, DiManno, July 17Its astonishing to fathom how many organizations dropped the ball regarding the escape of Zhebin Cong from CAMH. Firstly, the justice system which allowed him to maintain possession of his passport, the medical staff at CAMH who obviously did a lousy job of assessing and interpreting the extent of this man’s illness, the Ontario Review Board which no doubt took their cue from CAMH to give Cong unescorted passes, the police department for keeping this hush hush, and Canada Border Security Services at the airport. No one did their job properly to make sure this man does not put anyone else’s life at risk. Julia Bowkun, Toronto
