Photo: Fulton HoganSeveral State Highways throughout the region are still closed after the heavy dumping of snow that hit yesterday and cold overnight temperatures. Snow has closed Kyeburn to Palmerston (SH85). Becks to Kyeburn (SH85), and Omarama to Tarras (SH8) through the Lindis Pass have now reopened but chains were essential. Naseby and Ranfurly and St Bathans and St Bathans Loop Rd are restricted to 4WD use only and chains must be carried. Danseys Pass Rd was still closed.
