Kenya’s Sneha Kotecha booked a place in the third round of International Tennis Federation (ITF) East African 18 and under junior championship following her 6-0,6-2 win over Lyla Elrabi of Egypt at Nairobi Club. Kotecha was clinical in the opening set, where her strong serves were scattered by her opponent, granting her points and easy games. Following the victory, Sneha couldn’t hide her joy. In the boys’ category, Luka Petrovic of Great Britain beat Katticaren Aditya of India 6-0,6-2 while Samuel Ruggeri of Italy overpowered Samir Reguig of Algeria 7-5,6-3. Sina Moghimi of Ireland floored Mathias Ross of Great Britain 6-2, 6-2 while Alan Patel of India eliminated Benjamin Stanford of Great Britain 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
