KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested a habitual snatch thief over the robbery of an American tourist in front of a luxury hotel here. Dang Wangi Deputy OCPD Supt Habibi Majinji said the robbery occurred at 4.52am on Sept 4. Supt Habibi said that the suspect has been remanded to assist with investigations. In an unrelated case, Supt Habibi said that a 46-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Chow Kit. Supt Habibi said the suspect had records of at least 20 drug related cases and added that he tested positive for methamphetamine.
