New Delhi: Online marketplace Snapdeal on Tuesday said it has started six new logistics hubs across the national capital region, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Snapdeal had recently announced that it now ships 80% of its orders through its fulfilment centres, known as SD+. Snapdeal last raised $200 million (Rs.1,334 crore) in February, in a round led by Canada’s Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. The six new centres are owned by Vulcan Express, a 100% owned subsidiary of Snapdeal.
