Snapchat's new 'lens' aims to encourage social distancing by showing how far users need to stay away from others using an augmented reality circle on the ground. The MailOnline asked Snapchat why a localised version showing the wider distancing radius was not available for users in the UK. A spokesperson said that the circles did not reflect a set distance, but instead were for 'education purposes only' and to to raise awareness of social distancing.
