Snap has blocked messaging apps YOLO and LMK after an Oregon mom sued them over the suicide of her 16-year-old son who suffered months of abuse from anonymous bullies. The move came one day after Kristin Bride filed a federal lawsuit against Snap, Yolo and LMK, claiming the apps are partly responsible for driving her son Carson to suicide. Snap has suspended messaging apps YOLO and LMK after an Oregon mom sued them over the suicide of her 16-year-old son, who suffered months of abuse from anonymous bullies. They are not owned by Snap, the company behind the app Snapchat, but the two apps do rely on its Snap Kit. The suit claims Yolo failed to live up to those commitments by allowing Carson to suffer online abuse for months.
