The documentary will feature Mark Outerbridge, a wildlife ecologist with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, as he describes the reintroduction of the Lesser Bermuda Land Snail to the ecosystem. The documentary will air tomorrow at 1.30pm and 10.30pm, and on Sunday at 7pm. In 2017, 60 specimens of the species were moved to the Chester Zoo in England to help with population growth. Walter Roban, the Minister of Home Affairs, invited the public “to watch this documentary on the reintroduction of this important species to Bermuda’s environment”.
