The New Delhi-bound flight 6E 845 took off from the RGIA at 11.50 a.m., with more than 160 passengers on board. After developing a technical snag a few minutes after it took off, the flight returned to the airport around 12.20 p.m, sources said. The passengers had to wait for two hours to be accommodated on another flight to New Delhi. The alternative flight departed from RGIA at 2.28 p.m. and reached New Delhi at 5.10 p.m., three hours behind schedule. The landing scare of the Tirupati-Hyderabad Indigo flight on Wednesday caused diversion of 31 flights, including several international aircraft, at RGIA, sources said.
