Cameron Smith has gone back-to-back at the Australian PGA Championship, finishing at 16-under to win by two shots in a fluctuating Sunday shoot out with Marc Leishman at Royal Pines. Leishman (68, 68, 69, 69) started the day three shots back but, following a 15-metre chip in, was outright leader by the fourth thanks to Smith's errant start off the tee. Leishman held a two-shot lead with six holes to play before Smith birdied the 13th to get within one. Momentum shifted when the 35-year-old's par putt on the 14th did a 360 degree spin around the rim before rolling away to draw the pair level.
