Nobody is blaming Mike Smith for the 6-2 beating the Calgary Flames took at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night, though. Smith simply wasn’t at fault for the goals and the scoreline might have been a whole lot more lopsided if he hadn’t stopped multiple breakaways and turned away 50 of the 56 shots he faced.
