Small fire that broke out at Jewish Community Centre has been containedKARL HALVORSEN/SUPPLIED Firefighters at the Jewish Community Centre in Webb St, Wellington, on Thursday. A fire in the building that houses the Jewish Community Centre in Wellington has been contained. The fire started in a refrigeration area of the Webb St building in the central city, assistant area commander Michael Dombroski said. Seven fire trucks were called to the scene just after midday on Thursday, and Webb St was cordoned off. TOM HUNT/STUFF Webb St was cordoned off while fire crews contained the fire.
