The Epidemic Response Committee today heard from the hospitality industry, retailers, health and beauty practitioners and the Auckland Chamber of Commerce on the impact of Covid-19. A Wellington bar owner, the Bay of Plenty Hospitality Association president, a chiropractor, and the head of the NZ Beauty Association made submissions to the inquiry into the Government response to Covid-19 this morning. The committee also heard from Auckland Chamber of Commerce chief executive Michael Barnett and representatives from mall owner Ladstone Glenfield Ltd and cleaning and maintenance firm Jones & Co.
