A man from Slough has been sentenced to more than a year in prison after threatening another man with a machete in Chalvey. Ryan Efey, 25, of Wexham Road in Slough was sentenced to one year and nine months in prison at Reading Crown Court on Thursday, November 2. Efey had a machete in his possession and used it to threaten the victim with violence. “Efey produced a large machete knife and taunted the victim in broad daylight in front of members of public including children. “The sentence given to Efey sends a clear message that we will not allow violent acts take place in Slough with knives.
