Photo: Glenn Alcock--Slough Town midfielder Johnny Goddard has won the Vanarama National League South player of the month award for November. The Rebels midfielder has been in fine form for the club this season, scoring eight goals in his 14 appearances in all competitions. However, his performances stepped up a level in November as he scored four goals in six games, helping the side climb the National League South table and advance in the FA Trophy. He was also part of the side that held League 2 Grimsby Town to a 1-1 draw at Arbour Park in the first round of the FA Cup. Player/manager Scott Davies called Goddard a ‘magician’ on X this morning (Wednesday) and said he was ‘over the moon’ with his win.
