Slough Town FC is teaming up with Thames Hospice to help boost awareness and support with the Rebels’ game against Bath City on Saturday, March 2 becoming a designated charity day with various fund-raising activities taking place. Thames Hospice also generates vital income from its 22 charity shops located across the Thames Valley. The Rebels will also be donning a one-off kit featuring the colours and logo of Thames Hospice which will be raffled off at the end of the game. Ade Gomm, community manager, said: “It gives us great pleasure to work with this fantastic local charity which does such fantastic work in our community. We are using this event to raise awareness, letting the residents of Slough know that vital help and support is available for families facing a life-limited diagnosis.
