Rotorua driver Sloan Cox won the 30th running of the Ashley Forest Rally sprint on Sunday. Cox (Mitsubishi EVO 8) set a winning time of 55.3s to beat the three-time defending champion, Rangiora's Matt Summerfield (Mitsubishi Mirage), by over a second.
