Rain is hammering Wellington on Wednesday morning (File photo). Heavy rain is causing slips and flooding around Wellington. Wellington City Council said it had reports of slips in Makara and Evans Bay on Wednesday morning. There had also been flooding on Hutt Rd, and in Khandallah and Churton Park.
