Skiers scoop championship titles as history is madeSUPPLIED Skier Ella Schoni took first place in the individual event at the annual Peters Doig Secondary Schools championships. A talented Marlborough skier has made her mark at a historic ski championship. Ella Schoni from Marlborough Girls' College carved out the quickest time of the day to claim the girls' crown while Liam Dommett-Potts of Nelson College who took out the boys section. Holly McKendry from Marlborough Girls' College came in second with an overall time of 67.98 seconds while classmate Ava Unwin came in third with a time of 80.88 seconds. Euan Marshall from Marlborough Boys' College was first in the boys' individual with an overall time of 75.12 seconds.
