It sure took a while but Hyundai has finally launched its first car this year in the form of the sixth generation Elantra . The hexagonal grille with horizontal slats imparts a unique identity to the car's front fascia with the sharp headlamps further accentuating it. Crisper lines running on the sides gives a streamlined look to the new Elantra. It also gets a fresh set of alloys and broader tail lamps. With the new platform, the sixth-gen Hyundai Elantra is also wider and longer than the outgoing model. Powering the diesel Elantra is the familiar 1.6-litre pot that churns out 128PS of power and 260Nm of torque.
