A manhunt has been launched for six prominent clearing agents who are part of a tax evasion syndicate. One detective who sought anonymity told the Star that ,the six participated in the loss of 124 containers in last year. He added that the suspects had been using fake entries and using their colleagues password to log into the Kenya Ports Authority and Kenya Revenue Authority systems. “They are the same people and in fact cyber crime experts who had been manipulating and tampering with Simba and Catos systems. A senior judicial who also sought anonymity told the Star that their charges might amended since the detectives have found new allegations against them.
