Six people were on Wednesday morning killed by bandits on the outskirts of Garissa town. Security officers said the six were heading to the border town of Holugho when they were attacked by the bandits. Their bodies have been transferred to the Garissa County Referral Hospital mortuary. Garissa county commissioner Boaz Cherutich and the police visited the scene. “I have just learnt with sadness and anger the killing of people on the outskirts of Kunaso, Garissa town,” he said.
