JOHOR BARU: Six people have been remanded over the murder of an alleged underworld leader at a petrol station here. On Sunday (Dec 17), a 44-year-old man identified only as Ah Chiu, was savagely attacked by four men at a petrol station along Jalan Sri Pelangi here. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said on Tuesday (Dec 19) that a fight between two triads was the cause of the brutal murder. He said police had identified the four assailants and that a manhunt has been launched to nab the suspects.
