KUALA LUMPUR: Police have recorded the statements of six people in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a student by a religious teacher. He added that the 40-year-old religious teacher, who was nabbed, did not have a criminal record. The suspect had been teaching at the religious school in Kampung Pandan for about 11 years. It was previously reported that an 11-year-old student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a religious teacher.
