Six people have died and nine injured after a lorry crushed them within Muthera Farm in Mau Narok, Nakuru County. The pedestrians were walking home after a day's work within the farms on Friday evening when the incident occurred. Nakuru County Police Commander Tito Kilonzi said the lorry which was carrying potatoes, lost control, rolled and knocked the six. Kilonzi said the driver of the lorry was trying to overtake when the incident took place. "Seven of the suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital for specialised treatment while other two were taken to different hospitals in Njoro," KilonzI said.
