PESHAWAR: As many as six persons were killed and two others injured when an under-construction bridge in Shin Dhand area of FR Kohat suddenly collapsed. Labourers were busy with their work on an under-construction bridge in Shin Dhand area of FR Kohat when the bridge suddenly collapsed, killing six persons on the spot and injuring two others, APA Khalid Ilyas said. Soon after the incident, the police and the rescue team rushed to the site and started a relief operation. They recovered six bodies from the rubble of the bridge and took the injured to Kohat District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment. Eyewitnesses also confirmed the sudden collapse of the under-construction bridge.
