All the victims were from Sidhandi village of Chakwal district. People sitting atop the van had saved their lives by jumping off the moment they saw the mammoth truck trip over. The injured victims include Haji Sultan, Shamim, Anwar Ameer, Riyaz, and Faiqa Parveen. Two critically injured victims were shifted to a hospital in Rawalpindi while others were given treatment in the factory’s hospital. The closely knit locality of the Sidhandi village bore a somber look as six funerals were held on the same evening.
