Six people are believed to be injured, including one seriously, after a single-vehicle crash near Omarama this afternoon. A police spokeswoman said the crash happened shortly before 1pm when a vehicle rolled at the intersection of Quailburn Rd and State Highway 8. It was believed one person was trapped after the crash. A St John spokesman said it was believed five people had minor injuries and one person person "serious to critical" injuries. The person with "serious to critical" injuries was being transported to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter.
