Southwest Airlines cited a partial equipment failure involving a jet bridge. (Lynn Krugman)Six people were injured Saturday night at Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport after what the facility called a partial equipment failure involving a jet bridge. In a statement late Saturday night, the airport said the injuries came “in a fall.” But it was not immediately clear whether they fell inside the jet bridge, or through its floor. A jet bridge is the enclosed, movable passageway between the terminal and an aircraft, permitting passengers to board and deplane. Southwest said it wanted the medical personnel to “assess an onboard medical situation” that took place in flight, involving one passenger.
