The identities of the detainees could not be ascertained yet. DMP Deputy Commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Wednesday morning. They were detained with the fake notes on Tuesday night, said a SMS sent by the elite force. Details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing to be held at DMP media centre later in the day.
