Six drug dealers arrested in major Krabi sting


The alleged drug dealers arrested were Kriangsak Rangsiyangkul, 40, from Bangkok, and Nan Saung Kham from Myanmar, along with Krabi residents Pornsawan Dindaeng, 34, Pitchsinee Patimin, 22, Peerapong Kanpetch, 26, and Sittiporn Sarawaree, 53. The deputy commander of Police Region 8, Pol Maj-General Teerapol Kuptanon, said that on April 27 last year, police arrested Premsap Ngankaeng with a stash of drugs and, on August 29, they arrested Somporn Ratchapiboon with 486,000 amphetamine pills and 10 kilograms of methamphetamine. After investigations, police found that they both had come from the same drug network. Somporn was the person who kept and transported the drugs and collected money from clients, and his wife, Pitchsinee, transferred money to the prepared accounts. Police said that the money circulating in the network from April to August was about Bt86 million.
