It sparked a mass stampede which left five teenagers dead alongside a woman who had brought her young daughter to the event. The dead teenagers' ages ranged from 14 to 16 and the mother who was killed was 39, said police chief Cristian Carrozza. Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta, who is popular with young teenagers, was to perform at the venue. Ancona Police Chief Oreste Capocasa said the dead teenagers were three girls and two boys, the Italian news agency ANSA said. That could have made it more likely that young teenagers were out at such a late concert.
